Who says you can’t elope locally?!

Nikki + Greg had the most perfect elopement at Langdon Hall Country House Hotel and Spa in Cambridge. This was not the wedding they had originally planned but when they saw everything that was taking place around the world Nikki called me + said “we just want to get married + start our lives together.” So a couple of months later on a cold December day, on the same day they got engaged, they got married! With no more than 10 people, including us. Just them under a beautiful arbour with gorgeous flowers + lots + lots of candles!

Sweet vows were exchanged in front of their parents + that was that! Oh, their dog made a special visit while they were taking photos outside, which was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Once the portraits were taken, they came back inside to have their first dance. Incredibly epic! The sun had set + it was just just them two, the photographer + me playing the role of the DJ while they danced to their favourite song. She later changed into her reception dress + went to have the most incredible dinner as husband + wife. It definitely was not what they had originally planned, but man was it still everything they could have hoped.
